A wonderful country hotel. Fabulous service and a great dining experience. Wish we had scheduled to stay longer. The grounds are extensive and a pleasure to walk off some of the excess calories gained from the dining room. Dinner was one of the highlights of our visit to Ireland. Take the time and plan on staying at least 2-3 nights to thoroughly enjoy your stay.

A delightful place with lovely drawing rooms, conservatory and extensive gardens. The history tour was delightful. The bedrooms are beautifully appointed. And of course the food in this place is exquisite - it’s not without merit that it’s widely hailed as the home of Irish cookery.

Have wanted to visit this place for a while. Lovely setting and surroundings. Booked lunch in advance. Had lunch in the conservatory, warm day and the doors were open. Food was lovely. Cocktails were nice, and they made us our favorites which were not on the menu. Staff couldn't do enough for us, so helpful and welcoming. Nice place for a special occasion or just a treat.

What a special treat this was! Lose yourself in this fairytale location in the beautiful countryside of County Cork. Very kind staff, plenty of walk opportunities, lovely shop with quirky items and products just round the corner from the hotel. Plenty of places in the hotel to get lost in and find a peaceful area or to view the scenery. The food! Next level. Local produce getting the love and treatment it deserves. Cauliflower shawarma and local fish were amazing. Dessert was a trolley of so many amazing dishes. The morning after, full Irish breakfast was a highlight also. Would certainly look to come again on our next trip to Ireland 🇮🇪
